36pp on heavy laid paper, illus. throughout, 2 fold.plates. Orig. heavy green paper wrappers, printed in green, edges a little creased, green cloth spine sl. worn at tail. A good-plus copy. There are no Chatfield catalogues on Copac, The address is wrongly printed as 183 or 83 High Street, Lewes, overprinted in red with the correct address of 138 High Street. This catalogue of Mouldings: 'British manufactured goods made in all kinds of wood'. There is still a Chatfield's Yard at Cooksbridge, where Covers timber merchants boast of having been in business for 175 years. We can find the Globe Printing Company recorded from c.1863 until 1898 when there was a fire at its Finsbury works.
