Engaging God’s Story can be used in a variety of ways. Worship leaders and pastors can use this resource to prepare for weekly worship planning, a means of engaging the word before crafting their liturgies or writing their sermons. Individuals can use this book for personal devotions, and parents can use it for family devotions during the week. Small group and Bible study leaders can use this resource for weekly Bible study. In all of these uses, Engaging God’s Story allows the word of Christ to dwell in readers richly as a consistent means of spiritual growth and formation. Through each weekly devotion, the tapestry of biblical genres will allow all to see the big picture of God’s redemption and his covenant faithfulness to his people.
