nach der Bestellung gedruckt Neuware - Printed after ordering - A spark of curiosity, a hint of wonder, and a laboratory in a pocket watch: Endless Amusement invites you to travel through a Victorian-era showroom of ideas. This is more than a book of demonstrations; it is a curated theatre of inquiry, where acoustics, electricity, magnetism, arithmetic, hydraulics, and chemistry become accessible experiments that illuminate how the world works.Within these pages you'll encounter a remarkable science demonstration anthology that blends practical ingenuity with a sense of wonder. The collection is a window onto a period when curiosity was a shared enterprise, and curious minds-from schoolrooms to parlours-could explore the wonders of the air-pump, the tricks of the cards, and the art of making fireworks. It is a public domain treasure that carries the flavour of its era while offering timeless inspiration for home experimenters, students, and thinkers alike.Endless Amusement is a literary and historical artefact as much as a handbook. Out of print for decades and now republished by Alpha Editions, it is restored for today's and future generations. More than a reprint, it's a collector's item and a cultural treasure, appealing to casual readers and classic-literature collectors who prize authentic curiosity, careful experimentation, and the thrill of discovery.…
