Without a solid foundation in Biblical Doctrine, it is difficult to be a sound interpreter of the sacred scriptures. The purpose of this work is to set forth in a systematic easy to follow order a declaration of those things which are most surely believed among us. The text has been written in such a way as to provide "seed to the sower and bread to the eater." The writer has not tried to say all that could be said but has provided both outline (seed) and content (bread) so that the student can read and meditate on the numerous Scripture references listed, and on the author's commentary. Encountering Biblical Doctrine is a series of books by this author to highlight and provide a relevant and clear presentations of the great doctrines of the faith for our time. This highly acclaimed textbook is becoming a standard work for many bible students and Church goers around the world. Enjoy!
