Thirteen-year-old Miriam just wants to be a normal kid, but that’s the last thing she gets when fairies break through the back gate looking for her little sister, Lillian, whom they say is the child of prophecy--meant to save both the fairy and the human worlds. To protect Lillian, Miriam travels into the fairy realm. Once there, she discovers she has a power that she doesn’t understand. She must navigate the treachery of three ancient fairy queens, learn how to use her new power, and to get herself and Lillian back home, she must accept the differences within herself that make her more powerful than she can imagine; and most importantly, she must begin to believe in herself.
