Slightly smaller book, gray cloth, red and blue lettering with design very fine on spine, 359 lightly browned heavy pages plus a list of leading Enemy Aces in World War I and photographs. An account of the 1st Pursuit Group. DJ beneath mylar has color-illustration of an air battle between biplanes on front and spine, b/w photo of officer in uniform on back--Hartney. DJ has light wear to front bookfold edge, very slight wear to bottom front tip, very tiny tear and crease with slight wear along spine top edge, very tiny tear and light wear to spine bottom edge, white back edges very slightly browned. Good+ DJ/Near Very Fine book.
