Early 20th-century Cobden-Sanderson edition of The Elizabethan Home, presenting two important Elizabethan domestic dialogues by Claudius Hollyband and Peter Erondell, edited by M. St. Clare Byrne. A scholarly edition reproducing and analysing early English domestic and linguistic texts, with bibliographical and textual notes. Printed in clear serif type on good quality paper. Original brown cloth binding. No dust jacket. Year: Circa 1910–1920 (exact year not stated in images; early 20th century Cobden-Sanderson issue) Condition: Good. Spine shows noticeable rubbing and wear, particularly at head and tail. Cloth faded and marked. Corners lightly bumped. Page edges age-toned. Internally sound and complete. Moderate foxing throughout, heavier on some leaves. Binding remains firm. A solid working copy of a scarce Cobden-Sanderson imprint.
