A lighthearted tale about Lake Michigan's first female lightkeeper, her little round dog and the beautiful region surrounding her lighthouse home. Set in the Harbor Springs and Petoskey area of Michigan on Lake Michigan's Little Traverse Bay.
About the Author: Mary Hramiec-Hoffman's beloved childhood in northern Michigan was complemented by annual treks around the United States with her family of 10 soaking up Americana, beaches and off-the-beaten-path artist's studios. The highlight of the journeys included traveling in one of America's first mother homes-expertly fashioned out of a GM delivery truck by her father. Mary received her degrees in fine art from Kendall College of Art and Design and St. Thomas Aquinas College. Her true passion has always been drawing, but she has become most noted for her collection of traditional landscape oil paintings as well as her accompanying whimsical "Happy Series" with polka dot skies. The motto of Mary and Mark's studio gallery is "Where every purchase is a gift" because a portion of all proceeds is donated to cancer research and charity programs. You are cordially invited to Mary and Mark's studio and gallery in Harbor Springs, Michigan.
