Endpapers browned, bookplate of department store owner Sir Ernest Ridley Debenham (1865-1952) to FEP, occasional spotting. A revised edition of British economist Arthur Lyon Bowley's (1869-1957) popular primer to the study of statistics, first published in 1901, based on lectures delivered at the London School of Economics.
