Item description from seller

Ninth edition and first printing. The name of the publisher - ? J.E. Southall - has been crossed out on the title page and on copyright page. There is a blue printed notice in Welsh glued to title page as follows - "Cyhodeeir Y Llyfr Hwn Yn Awr Gan Hughes A'I Fab, Wrecsam"." This translates as "This Book Is Now Published By Hughes And Son, Wrexham". This is a very rare edition. In fair pale blue cloth boards, black titles to front and spine. The boards have small white marks to front and is edge-worn; the front cover is coming away from the page block from tail end. The end papers are lightly foxed; name of previous owner with date on front free end paper. Webbing from spine visible from end papers. The text block is flat and fairly firm, with a few marks but not tanned or foxed. Good plus condition. Overall condition is good minus as boards are only in fair condition. Without jacket.

Our Bookshop is in Copse Road in Clevedon and is open every day of the week except Mondays, from 10.30am to 4.30pm. The Bookshop Co-operative comprises nearly 650 members from around the world and was set up to stop the only second-hand bookshop in our town from closing. The benefit of being a member/shareholder is only social: no-one benefits financially.
