Volume 1 has 48 pp + 660 pages with small woodcut illustrations in the text and is on Hydraulics & Pneumatics and runs over to the 2nd volume, etc. this continues with the section on heat and light. Uniformly bound in 19th century half-calf, some rubbing and wear at edges, heads of the spines worn, marbled paper boards, last page of first section 660 has some light scuff marks, and some light sporadic foxing in both volumes, but minor.
