Print on Demand. This book is an accessible introduction to physics. It avoids using a lecture-based approach, instead favouring learning through practical experiments. The author employs an energy-based method for teaching mechanics, making it easier for students to understand the subject, particularly the concept of force. This text includes more laboratory experiments than other books, but they are vital to the author's teaching method. The book begins with fundamental definitions and covers topics such as machines, properties of bodies, waves, and magnetism and electricity. It is ideal for secondary school physics courses. The author has sought to give the subject a new approach, one that is grounded in the idea that all energy has an equivalent form, and that force is a result of an energy imbalance. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book.…
