The book covers the fundamentals of the electric test, its strengths and its limitations, and offers concrete guidance on applying the technique to real patients. It also shows how radiographs can complement clinical findings, with case examples that illustrate correct interpretation and cautious decision making.
- How to apply the dental electrode and manage current for reliable vitality testing
- How to differentiate pulpal sensation from gingival sensation and what that means for diagnosis
- How to read radiographs in the context of vitality testing and periapical findings
- Common pitfalls, limitations, and practical tips for safe, effective testing
Ideal for dental students, general practitioners, and specialists seeking a disciplined approach to pulp testing and radiographic interpretation without overreaching beyond what the test can reliably show.
