Paperback. "Electric Orb" ignites a gripping tale of power, greed, and rebellion set in an overheated world hungry for green energy. In 2042, the race for rare earth minerals and lithium intensifies, with the Atacama Desert in Chile as the battleground. As environmental devastation sparks a local uprising, China's Loong Company maneuvers to secure dominance, even plotting for a deep water naval base at the port of Iquique. At the helm of Loong is a formidable woman whose ambition knows no bounds. Armed with corrupted algorithms, she wages a silent war against Western intelligence and military services. Yet amidst this brink of global conflict, unforeseen events unravel, threatening to reshape the fabric of global order. Drawing from the rich tapestry of D.A. Borges' previous works, including "PhoeniX ReduX", "Isabella Ascending", Mars' Furnace" and "Orphans of the Cauldron", "Electric Orb" weaves together a cast of complex characters on a collision course with destiny. With stakes higher than ever, alliances will be tested, loyalties questioned, and the fate of nations hangs in the balance. Will humanity succumb to its darkest impulses, or can the unlikeliest of heroes emerge to chart a new course? Dive into "Electric Orb" and experience the pulse-pounding thrill of a future on the edge. This item is printed on demand.
