A very clean, bright and crisp hardback copy of the first English language edition (revised and expanded) in a clean and fresh pictorial dust jacket, which has not been price-clipped. There are no written names or inscriptions, but there is a circular embossed private ownership stamp in the bottom right-hand corner of the front free endpaper; the embossed stamp is 'blind' (ie not ink) and therefore not too jarring or noticeable. The clean dust jacket is ever so lightly creased at the head of the spine, but overall this is a very fresh and attractive hardback copy. [Nb By modern standards the typeface is on the small side].
