With her passionate plea for honor, Dr. Gabriele M. Sigg writes a wake-up call to the digital society that being human is more - far more - than just profit maximization, reckless pursuit of success, and the reduction of individual personality to data and algorithmic analysis.
Without the revival of a sense of honour active in all life situations, a harmonious, compassion-based coexistence of people cannot work. A "predator capitalism", in which only one's own profit and the best possible enforcement of one's own interests is in the foreground, will lead to misery in a short time.
A wake-up call at the right time that puts the meaning of VALUES back in the middle of human life. A call to recognize and respect the dignity of each individual!
