From sand-swept desert ruins to the water of Red Sea to the city of Cairo, Egypt's landscape is as legendary as its mythical history. Home to hieroglyphs, pharaohs and the Great Pyramid of Giza, Egypt's cultural heritage means the country merits its place in the Cradle of Civilization. This book celebrates the many places and faces of this land.
