Print on Demand. This book analyzes the distinct religious beliefs, habits, and characteristics found in men contrasted with those found in women. Men, primarily visual and concrete in religious orientation, tend to emphasize the positive, practical, and social aspects of religion. Through a development of thought and history, the author shows how men's spiritual lives have been largely unaddressed until recently, and women's spirituality has been the pre-eminent orientation of religious institutions. - Education
The speculative side 7 of the religious life of men8 differs from that of women in that the man finds pleasure Often in the philosophical and abstract problems Of religion, while to the women all such problems are personal. He exercises himself in theology, biblical, historical, or theoretical; she in experience, in the consideration and discussion of the life of feeling and relationships, as she knows it. Ordinarily, and broadly, the emphasis with the man is intellectual; with the woman, emotional.
