Educator Reflection Tips, Volume #1. This item is unavailable.Educator Reflection Tips, Volume #1

Life doesn’t come with a built-in GPS system. Our emotions are what our bodies use to send alerts and signals to our internal world. To move through the change continuum more efficiently we will need to attend to our emotions, set goals, provide support, focus on self-care, and trust in the plans set forth for us.

The Educator Reflection Tips Mindset method will help educators in their pursuit to achieve harmony and flow, teach them to use petite purpose, prioritize their time, and routinely give themselves grace. Have you ever considered the tenets of maintaining an optimistic outlook? Well, this is just one of the topics that I hope to be able to share with teachers and school leaders around the world. Everyone works to relentlessly pursue goals and succeed in life. Teachers and school leaders are no different. Our work consumes us. Each day when we stand in front of students, we realize there is so much more that our students need. It is this drive that often prevents us from taking care of US. My methods are intended to ensure that we consciously reflect on how we spend our time, realize that we are doing enough, and about the importance of deliberately navigating through our days in an attempt to balance and achieve flow in our lives by focusing on our mental well-being.

The distinctive format of each Reflection Tip provokes readers to think deeply about their current practices, provides snapshot professional development to enhance the knowledge of the reader, and includes resources to further intellectual ability. Additionally, the accompanying Reflection Tip infographics create a ready-made tools which can be used individually, in Professional Learning Communities, and School-Based Professional Development sessions. Volume #1 contains three distinct instructional clusters: Content-driven Concepts which focuses on the instructional core and content-specific knowledge. Classroom Competencies that outlines instructional strategies educators can incorporate into their practice. Classroom Culture which provides guidelines for developing relationships and meeting the diverse needs of students. Each Reflection Tip should be looked at as an individual, bite-sized professional development session. Among the topics within this book, you will find the never before seen E.M.P.O.W.E.R Feedback Framework which was created to outline the steps educators can take to help students take ownership of their learning and a Summertime S.L.I.D.E. strategies toolkit to help combat summer learning loss. It’s everything you need to improve your instructional practice all in one book.
