In the heart of the New Orleans French Quarter, a dark force lurks. In B.D. Edkins’ electrifying thriller, Tarot, detective Jack Kohl finds himself in a deadly game of cat and mouse, racing against time to outsmart a cunning and bloodthirsty killer.
As Jack is pulled deeper into the eerie world of witchcraft, the line between reality and the supernatural begins to blur. With every card drawn, secrets unfold, and the stakes rise higher. Can he untangle the threads of a sinister plot woven through the shadows before another life is snuffed out?
Jack’s heart pounds as he stares down the ominous Tarot card. “It’s one of two things,” he breathes, each word heavy with dread. “A warning from the murderer…”
“And the other option?” Meeker presses, tension crackling in the air.
Jack glances between the two women across the table, fear coursing through him. He clenches his fists as he glances down at his empty plate, dread saturating his voice. “Or…I’m just moments away from a gruesome death by poisoning.”
The clock is ticking. The danger is real. In a city full of magic and malice, Jack must confront the unknown...before the next tarot reading seals his fate.
Will he unravel the truth in time, or will he become the killer’s next victim?
