Scotland the Best! was first published in 1993. Since then its reputation has grown as the guide to all the very best Scotland has to offer. It has been widely praised in reviews, by awards from the Tourist industry and, above all, by delighted readers from all over the world.
Edinburgh the Best! for the first time takes all the Edinburgh recommendations, adds some extra categories and includes colour photographs to provide the best and most useful guide to all the capital has to offer. From the main attractions of the city to the best walks, from tearooms to French restaurants, from pubs to Sunday breakfasts, the book provides an incisive guide to all that is excellent in Edinburgh. However well you know Edinburgh, Peter Irvine will guide you to something excitingly new.
