Are You Sick and Tired of Being Sick and Tired?
Discover why your "healthy" diet might be the real cause of your chronic fatigue, inflammation, digestive issues, and degenerative disease—and learn the metabolic science to reverse it.
If you've been told to eat low-fat, avoid cholesterol, and load up on "heart-healthy" whole grains, but still struggle with weight gain, brain fog, autoimmune conditions, or metabolic syndrome, you've been fed lies that are literally making you sick.
The Truth The Food Industry Doesn't Want You To Know
Edibolic Stress exposes the dangerous myths perpetuated by commercial food manufacturers and reveals the scientifically-proven metabolic approach that has helped thousands of patients achieve vibrant health without drugs or surgery.
Dr. Michael Rothman, MD, is a Functional and Metabolic Medicine Specialist with over two decades of holistic practice. After reversing his own "incurable" Crohn's disease through nutrition, he now guides others through the breakthrough science of how food directly impacts the autonomic nervous system, cellular metabolism, and long-term health. Dr. Rothman is certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners and the New Jersey State Board of Medical Examiners, and holds board certifications in Internal Medicine and previously in Emergency Medicine.
Here’s What You'll Learn:
- Understand how certain "healthy" foods trigger edibolic stress—metabolic chaos that leads to inflammation, hormone imbalance, and degenerative conditions
- Discover the flawed science behind low-fat diets, the cholesterol myth, and why "calories in, calories out" doesn't work for metabolic healing
- Learn how food choices directly affect your body's stress response, immune function, and ability to heal
- Follow Dr. Rothman's clinically-proven metabolic protocol to restore balance and reverse chronic health conditions naturally
- Access delicious recipes that make the metabolic approach easy to implement immediately
This Book Is Perfect For:
- Anyone struggling with metabolic syndrome, diabetes, or pre-diabetes
- People with inflammatory conditions like Crohn's, colitis, arthritis, or autoimmune disease
- Health-conscious readers frustrated with contradictory nutritional advice
- Medical professionals seeking evidence-based metabolic medicine approaches
- Those ready to take control of their health through nutrition and lifestyle
Why This Book Is Different
Unlike trendy diet books that offer quick fixes, Edibolic Stress provides deep scientific understanding accessible to everyone—from patients to healthcare professionals.
With over 15 years treating thousands of patients in his own practice using this scientifically-based metabolically directed approach, Dr. Rothman proves that the path to vibrant health doesn't require medications—just the right knowledge about how your food choices impact your metabolism.

Store description
We first started out as “The Paperback Exchange,” a chain of physical bookstores where we would part exchange your beloved books for new stories to transport you to faraway places. However, as shopping started to evolve to online shops and marketplaces, we bid our stores goodbye to become “PBShop.” This transition has only allowed us to blossom as we now ship thousands of titles to book lovers across the globe. We pride ourselves in being a community of local book lovers which allows our passion and devotion to shine in everything we do. In 2020 we not only celebrated our 20th birthday but our 1st birthday as being completely employee owned after becoming an E.O.T in September 2019. We are proud to be different and embrace standing apart on a book mountain by working from a virtual inventory which allows us to provide thousands of books that may be difficult to get for your bookshelf or your studies. Working with a number of different suppliers allows us to explore other avenues such as puzzles, sheet music and even stationery so we really do have something for everyone. Life is about being versatile in all realms of existence. If this is your first visit or you are a returning customer, we would like to welcome you to the PBShop family, for there is no friend as loyal as a book. We are a company who put our customers at the centre of everything we do as we understand the importance of reading because once you learn to read, you will forever be free. There are a whole lot of things in this world of ours that we are yet to explore, which is why we will forever inspire curious minds.…
