Edge-enabled 6G Networking involves the integration of edge computing, fog computing, and cloud computing with 6G wireless networks to enable faster and more reliable communication, as well as to support a variety of emerging applications and use cases. The book will provide a comprehensive overview of Edge-enabled 6G Networking, including its foundations, architectures, applications, and algorithms, to address the growing interest and demand for this technology.
This book stands out from existing books published in the field due to its unique focus on the intersection of edge computing and 6G networking. While there exist a few books on edge computing and networking, and some on 6G specifically, this book aims to bridge the gap between these two domains. It delves into the cutting-edge advancements and challenges of leveraging edge computing capabilities in the context of 6G networks, exploring how edge-enabled architectures, protocols, and algorithms can revolutionize the next generation of wireless communication systems. By providing a comprehensive understanding of the foundations, technologies, and applications in this emerging area, this book promises to offer a relevant and invaluable resource for researchers, professionals, and students seeking to navigate the complex landscape of edge-enabled 6G networking.
