After a century of searching, Althea Starbane has finally found Issac Edison. Though they grew apart, a common goal and their unravelling past brought them closer than ever—only to be ripped apart once more.
When a surprise attack from Wyrran and Aagon strikes, Thea is forced to watch as the place and people she considered home vanish in flames, the person she's grown to love beyond friendship forgets her, and his mind fills with nothing but hatred for her.
Now, sailing towards Sebraycia, she battles nightmares from that terrible day whilst leading a team to the capital in search of an ancient ritual. With Issac close by and the constant threat of him trying to hurt her hanging over them all, Thea must navigate deadly dangers hidden in the frozen wilderness.
What will she do when an ancient prophecy unfolds and a deadly mission awaits? Who can she trust when once before she was betrayed by those closest to her? How will she stop Aagon from destroying their world whilst fighting to restore Issac's memories of them?
In the frozen land, not everyone will make it out alive, and time is running out.
