Green cloth over boards with elaborate blind stamped decorations to the front and rear and bright gilt decorations and titling to the spine. American printing of this classic British tale of school-boy learning. Nice tissue-guarded frontis piece along with 6 additional full page engravings, all in great shape. Also 6 pages of advertisements at rear. Book is tight, square and free of markings inside other than small signature to FFEP and some very minor foxing throughout, but none on plates. Now protected in an archival quality mylar sheet. Quite uncommon printing. Seller Inventory # blb01501
