A brilliant transhumanist tech mogul has emerged with a miraculous cure to a global plague, freely gifting the technology to a desperate planet. But it is a trap-an ancient biological weapon designed to tune the human race into absolute, neurochemical submission. The False Prophet, Azazel, is building his empire, and the world is cheering. For two and a half millennia, immortal Celtic warrior Cian mac Morna has fought a covert war against the darkness. Now, the voice of his guiding archangel has gone silent. To give humanity one final chance, Cian and former intelligence analyst Miriam Ashford must follow an ancient acoustic resonance to the unfallen coordinates of the Garden of Eden. Their mission: retrieve the prophesied witnesses, Enoch and Elijah, before the enemy's biometric surveillance grid becomes inescapable. But Paradise operates on its own merciless timeline. For every day Cian spends preparing in the timeless sanctuary, months of horrors pass on the outside. By the time they emerge in Jerusalem to trigger the 1,260-day testimony, billions will have already surrendered to the Beast's Mark.Armed with a sentient Cydonian sword, ward-piercing munitions, and a faith forged in the darkest corners of history, the Guardian is about to step out of the shadows and onto the most visible battlefield in human history.
