Now, that truth is breaking through. When Conclave cartographer Taran Helios witnesses a golden photon bloom in deep space-light from a star that should not exist-he knows what it means: Solus Oblivion, the Forgotten Sun, is alive. And the Shroud Array that has hidden it for three thousand years is failing. But discovery comes with a price. Taran's navigational records are seized. His Conclave account is flagged. Three navigators who reported similar anomalies have vanished without a trace. And the Pale Meridian-the ruthless order that controls all faster-than-light travel-has begun to close in. What they find reshapes everything they thought they knew: ancient Architect-built structures, a seventh transit path older than humanity, and evidence of a generational conspiracy that has kept an entire Expanse blind. And waiting in the dark is Draven Malk-a dangerous operative whose code is his own, and whose intentions may save Taran. or destroy him. As the Array collapses and the Meridian's pursuit tightens, Taran must choose what every navigator before him faced: Will he reveal the truth and ignite a reckoning across the Expanse Or will the Forgotten Sun rise without him Echoes of the Forgotten Sun is a sweeping, atmospheric space opera about suppressed history, the ethics of discovery, and the light that refuses to stay hidden. A Space Opera of Light, Power, and the Cost of Knowing the Truth
The Solari Expanse is built on a lie—one so vast and ancient that entire civilizations have risen and fallen without ever seeing the truth behind it. Now, that truth is breaking through.
When Conclave cartographer Taran Helios witnesses a golden photon bloom in deep space—light from a star that should not exist—he knows what it means: Solus Oblivion, the Forgotten Sun, is alive. And the Shroud Array that has hidden it for three thousand years is failing.
But discovery comes with a price.
Taran’s navigational records are seized. His Conclave account is flagged. Three navigators who reported similar anomalies have vanished without a trace. And the Pale Meridian—the ruthless order that controls all faster‑than‑light travel—has begun to close in.
With his fiercely loyal ally Vesper, the unflappable engineer Orin, and the dreaming ship‑AI Lyss, Taran launches into unmapped space on paper charts and instinct alone. What they find reshapes everything they thought they knew: ancient Architect‑built structures, a seventh transit path older than humanity, and evidence of a generational conspiracy that has kept an entire Expanse blind.
And waiting in the dark is Draven Malk—a dangerous operative whose code is his own, and whose intentions may save Taran… or destroy him.
As the Array collapses and the Meridian’s pursuit tightens, Taran must choose what every navigator before him faced: Will he reveal the truth and ignite a reckoning across the Expanse? Or will the Forgotten Sun rise without him?
Echoes of the Forgotten Sun is a sweeping, atmospheric space opera about suppressed history, the ethics of discovery, and the light that refuses to stay hidden. Perfect for readers who crave intelligent worldbuilding, character‑driven tension, ancient mysteries, and the quiet courage of those who chart the dark.
