Print on Demand. This book offers a novel method to learn Chinese, beginning with the basic building blocks of the language: its radicals. The author argues that learning the radicals first leads to a more thorough understanding of characters, as these radicals provide insight into their meanings and help readers remember how they are written. This method allows learners to connect with the language on a deeper level by seeing the evolution of characters and words firsthand. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book. …
