Neuware - Early Childhood Education is considered to be the primary stage for the acquisition of knowledge and has the function of integrally forming the child. As such, the social role of the Physical Education teacher at this stage is indispensable. In this sense, it is important to provide some reflections on the power of games and play as a pedagogical possibility for the development of Physical Education. This book offers a systematic review of the contribution of games and play in early childhood physical education. The consensual discussion unveiled by the existing theoretical contribution is that games and play are an integral part of children's culture and using them as a pedagogical possibility can be a powerful teaching and learning tool. We wish you a pleasant reading.
