Octavo, xviii, 168 pages. In Good condition. Rebound in later half calf with black cloth boards. Boards show wear to spine edges and corners. Text block has age toning to edges, foxing and light age-toning to pages throughout, and several tears to title page. Inscribed in ink on the half-title page: "John Allen [illegible] St. Thomas Hospital 1829 30 x 31". Ink inscription on the title page reads: "Martin Cottingham the gift of Dr. Thomas Smith B(?)" and "John Allen [illegible] given him by the Executor of . 1830". Ex-library copy with usual markings, including a bookplate to front pastedown, institutional stamps to several pages, and call number written in pencil. MF Consignment. 1357342. Special Collections.
