Cortes das folhas pintados. Ilustrado em extratexto, em 29 folhas (uma delas desdobrável), com a reprodução, em gravuras sobre chapa de metal, das faces e anversos de moedas romanas, com efígies de reis, imperadores e outras personagens históricas, gravuras e transcrições de inscrições epigráficas e em certos casos dos monumentos romanos onde estavam inscritas. Texto ornamentado com cabeções alegóricos. Iniciais decoradas e florões de remate xilogravados. Exemplar com assinatura de posse na folha de rosto e pequenos furos de traça, quase imperceptíveis, no pé de algumas folhas. As páginas preliminares contêm: Aos leitores; do tipógrafo; com informação de que foram juntos a esta edição comentários de Freinshemius; ao leitor benévolo prefácio de Jo. Georgius Graevius e notas biográficas de Floro por vários autores. A obra de Floro é impressa ao alto das páginas 1 a 459, com numerosas notas em duas colunas, no restante espaço; as páginas 460 a 560 contêm os argumentos dos 140 livros da História Romana de Titio Lívio, que são atribuídos a Floro; as páginas 562 a 672 e as duas sem numeração apresentam as notas, comentários e variantes de Graevius; as páginas numeradas 561 a 588 apresentam uma cronologia, a duas colunas, uma com as datas da era de Cristo e a segunda com as datas «ab urbe condita»; o índice analítico impresso a duas colunas ocupa as cento e oito páginas sem numeração e o último conjunto de páginas numeradas contém um resumo da história do mundo clássico por épocas, países e temas da autoria de Lúcio Ampélio. Excelente edição, muito rara (não referida nas principais bibliografias), desta obra clássica da historiografia romana enriquecida com numerosas notas explicativas, comentários, variantes, cronologia e extenso índice. Inclui os argumentos das décadas de Tito Lívio e um resumo da história clássica de Ampélio. Peça de grande beleza tipográfica. Edição muito importante para o estudo da história das edições, da tradição textual e crítica desta obra da historiografia romana. Lúcio Aneu Floro (África Proconsular, Tunísia? - Roma, 130) foi um historiador romano amigo do Imperador Trajano, que viveu na cidade de Tarragona, na Hispânia, durante alguns anos. [xxii], 672, [ii], 561 to 588, [cviii], 46 pp. Illustrated hors-texte, on 29 leaves (one of them unfolded), with the reproduction, in engravings etched on metal plate, of the faces and obverse sides of Roman coins, with effigies of kings, emperors and other historical characters, engravings and transcriptions of epigraphic inscriptions and in certain cases of the Roman monuments where they were inscribed. Magnificent contemporary binding in stiff parchment with handwritten title written on the spine and with a dry tooled armorial superlibris framed by ornate, plain squares on both folders. Painted edges. Very sharp printing on very sound paper in round characters of various sizes and with italic characters in quotations. Text ornamented with allegorical headpieces. Decorated capitals and woodcut finials. Copy with handwritten ownership title on title page and small, barely noticeable, worm holes at foot of some leaves. Preliminary pages contain: ?To the readers, from the printer, with information that comments by Freinshemius have been appended to this edition; to the benevolent reader preface by Jo. If you use this option, we will communicate to you an acknowledgement of receipt of such a cancellation on a durable medium (e.g. by e-mail) without delay.
To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right to cancel before the cancellation period has expired.
Effects of cancellation
If you cancel this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).
We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.
We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel with contract.
We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
