Contemporary full speckled calf, raised ribbed spine gilt ruled in six compartments with gilt lettered label, gilt ruled borders on boards and red sprinkled edges (outer joints worn and some wear at edges). Pp. [x] + 22 + 8 + xii + 254 + [1] errata + [5] blank illus with engraved plate (previous owner's 1751 inscription at top edge of title page of vol I).
