The English Gypsy Caravan by C. H. Ward‑Jackson and Denis E. Harvey is one of the definitive modern studies of the British Romani vardo tradition — a richly illustrated, technically detailed, and historically grounded survey of the horse‑drawn living wagons that became cultural icons of 19th‑ and early‑20th‑century travelling life.
