You read The Kybalion Made Simple. Now go one step deeper.
If The Kybalion Made Simple introduced you to the Seven Hermetic Principles, The Emerald Tablet Made Simple takes you closer to one of the ancient texts that helped shape the Western esoteric tradition.
The Emerald Tablet is only a few lines long, yet its influence reaches across Hermeticism, alchemy, Renaissance magic, Rosicrucianism, ceremonial magick, talismanic traditions, and modern occult philosophy. For centuries, alchemists, philosophers, and occultists have searched its words for the secrets of transformation.
But what does the Tablet actually say?
Where did it come from?
What does “As Above, So Below” really mean?
And how much of what modern occultism teaches about the Emerald Tablet comes from the original tradition—and how much was added by later interpreters?
The Emerald Tablet Made Simple cuts through the mystery without stripping away the magic.
You will explore:
-
The real historical origins of the Emerald Tablet and the traditions surrounding Hermes Trismegistus.
-
How the Arabic, Latin, Newtonian, and later alchemical interpretations differ.
-
The deeper meaning of “As Above, So Below.”
-
The mysterious One Thing from which all things arise.
-
The symbolic relationship between the Sun and Moon.
-
The four elements and their role in Hermetic and magical symbolism.
-
Solve et Coagula and the transformative power of separation and recombination.
-
The meaning of ascending from Earth to Heaven—and returning again to Earth.
-
The true meaning of the Great Work beyond the popular idea of simply making gold.
-
The connections between the Emerald Tablet, alchemy, Hermeticism, ceremonial magick, the Goetia, and talismanic traditions.
-
Practical exercises and rituals designed to help you move from reading occult philosophy to applying its principles.
The Kybalion Made Simple introduced you to a modern seven-principle framework for understanding Hermetic philosophy.
This book takes you further back into the tradition.
Where The Kybalion Made Simple asks you to understand Mentalism, Correspondence, Polarity, Vibration, Rhythm, Cause and Effect, and Gender, The Emerald Tablet Made Simple takes you into the older symbolic world of unity, correspondence, generation, transformation, ascent, descent, and the Great Work.
Together, the two books create a stronger foundation for understanding Western esotericism.
The Kybalion gives you the principles.
The Emerald Tablet takes you deeper into the tradition.
Whether you are completely new to Hermetic philosophy or you have already read The Kybalion Made Simple and want to understand the roots, symbolism, and practical applications behind the ideas you encountered there, this book is designed to be your next step.
Read the Tablet. Understand the symbolism. Practice the Work.
Your journey into Hermetic wisdom does not end with The Kybalion.
It goes deeper.

Store description
We first started out as “The Paperback Exchange,” a chain of physical bookstores where we would part exchange your beloved books for new stories to transport you to faraway places. However, as shopping started to evolve to online shops and marketplaces, we bid our stores goodbye to become “PBShop.” This transition has only allowed us to blossom as we now ship thousands of titles to book lovers across the globe. We pride ourselves in being a community of local book lovers which allows our passion and devotion to shine in everything we do. In 2020 we not only celebrated our 20th birthday but our 1st birthday as being completely employee owned after becoming an E.O.T in September 2019. We are proud to be different and embrace standing apart on a book mountain by working from a virtual inventory which allows us to provide thousands of books that may be difficult to get for your bookshelf or your studies. Working with a number of different suppliers allows us to explore other avenues such as puzzles, sheet music and even stationery so we really do have something for everyone. Life is about being versatile in all realms of existence. If this is your first visit or you are a returning customer, we would like to welcome you to the PBShop family, for there is no friend as loyal as a book. We are a company who put our customers at the centre of everything we do as we understand the importance of reading because once you learn to read, you will forever be free. There are a whole lot of things in this world of ours that we are yet to explore, which is why we will forever inspire curious minds.…
