Are emotional flashbacks and chronic shame quietly running your life? You may look functional on the outside, yet inside you feel braced, overwhelmed, disconnected, or ashamed for reasons you cannot fully explain.Maybe this sounds familiar: - You feel like something is fundamentally broken inside you.- Emotions hit fast and take hours, or days, to settle.- You were told it was anxiety or depression, but the label never fully fit.- You lose yourself in relationships, either clinging, pleasing, freezing, or pulling away.- Your childhood feels distant, but your body still reacts like you are back there.- You understand your past intellectually, yet your nervous system still acts as if the danger is not over. That gap is exactly where this workbook begins.Talk therapy may have helped you understand your story. Medication may have softened the edges. Breathing exercises may work until a real trigger appears. But Complex PTSD often lives deeper than insight. It lives in the body, in survival responses, in shame, in dissociation, and in the nervous system patterns that formed long before you had words for them.EMDR, adapted for Complex PTSD, works where trauma is stored: not only in memory, but in the body's alarm system. This workbook is not for passive reading. It is for people ready to slow down, notice what is happening inside, and begin working with the roots of their symptoms instead of only managing the surface.Inside, you will learn: - Why C-PTSD is often mistaken for anxiety, depression, or personality issues- What chronic trauma does to the developing brain and nervous system- How the four survival responses shape identity, relationships, and self-worth- Why shame is not a flaw, but a defense your system learned to use- How emotional flashbacks pull the past into the present- How to use grounding tools when your body feels hijacked- Why your window of tolerance may feel narrow, and how to widen it safely- How internal parts can block healing, protect you, or carry old pain- Why EMDR target selection matters so much in Complex PTSD recovery- What complete processing can feel like when a traumatic memory begins to resolveThis book is for you if: - You have spent years in therapy but still feel stuck underneath- Fawning, freezing, or people-pleasing feel automatic- Shame feels like something you were born with- You struggle to know who you are outside survival mode- You want practical trauma work, not vague inspiration- You are ready to stop living in the past your body keeps replayingHealing from Complex PTSD is not about forcing yourself to "move on." It is about helping your nervous system finally recognize that the past is over.Imagine waking up without constant dread. Feeling anger, sadness, or joy without being swept away. Choosing relationships from safety instead of survival. Meeting the wounded parts of yourself with steadiness instead of fear. You are not broken. Your system adapted. And with the right tools, it can learn something new.Start working with your trauma at the level where it lives, and begin becoming yourself again. Stop managing symptoms and start healing. You may look functional on the outside, yet inside you feel braced, overwhelmed, disconnected, or ashamed for reasons you cannot fully explain.
• You feel like something is fundamentally broken inside you.
• Emotions hit fast and take hours, or days, to settle.
• You were told it was anxiety or depression, but the label never fully fit.
• You lose yourself in relationships, either clinging, pleasing, freezing, or pulling away.
• Your childhood feels distant, but your body still reacts like you are back there.
• You understand your past intellectually, yet your nervous system still acts as if the danger is not over.
That gap is exactly where this workbook begins.
Talk therapy may have helped you understand your story. Medication may have softened the edges. Breathing exercises may work until a real trigger appears. But Complex PTSD often lives deeper than insight. It lives in the body, in survival responses, in shame, in dissociation, and in the nervous system patterns that formed long before you had words for them.
EMDR, adapted for Complex PTSD, works where trauma is stored: not only in memory, but in the body's alarm system.
This workbook is not for passive reading. It is for people ready to slow down, notice what is happening inside, and begin working with the roots of their symptoms instead of only managing the surface.
• Why C-PTSD is often mistaken for anxiety, depression, or personality issues
• What chronic trauma does to the developing brain and nervous system
• How the four survival responses shape identity, relationships, and self-worth
• Why shame is not a flaw, but a defense your system learned to use
• How emotional flashbacks pull the past into the present
• How to use grounding tools when your body feels hijacked
• Why your window of tolerance may feel narrow, and how to widen it safely
• How internal parts can block healing, protect you, or carry old pain
• Why EMDR target selection matters so much in Complex PTSD recovery
• What complete processing can feel like when a traumatic memory begins to resolve
• You have spent years in therapy but still feel stuck underneath
• Fawning, freezing, or people-pleasing feel automatic
• Shame feels like something you were born with
• You struggle to know who you are outside survival mode
• You want practical trauma work, not vague inspiration
• You are ready to stop living in the past your body keeps replaying
Healing from Complex PTSD is not about forcing yourself to "move on." It is about helping your nervous system finally recognize that the past is over.
Imagine waking up without constant dread. Feeling anger, sadness, or joy without being swept away. Choosing relationships from safety instead of survival. Meeting the wounded parts of yourself with steadiness instead of fear.
Start working with your trauma at the level where it lives, and begin becoming yourself again.
