Book condition - Good plus, contents clean, paste-downs and flyleaves are tanned, owner's inscription on front flyleaves, no foxing, inner hinges intact, binding firm ; original, plum-coloured cloth with gilt title to front board, some rubbing of corners and edges, back is clean and hinge is intact ; spine is rubbed with slight loss at either end, spine colour is very faded ; front is clean with some areas of slight colour fading, front board gilt is complete and bright.
