About this Item
First Tower printing. Wonderful fantasy-horror novel about a mad scientist who creates a machine to contact his dead wife. William Sloane, the author, went on to be the founder of his own publishing house, William Sloane & Associates. Book is crisp and square, with "tanned" pages and a dampstain that penetrates the top of the pages but is mainly faint and not too bad. Covered with a bright jacket with the author's photo on the rear. A terrific vintage copy that was the basis for the 1941 Boris Karloff film "The Devil Commands". Seller Inventory # 016732
