The biennial IAVSD symposia have been held in internationally renowned locations. In 2015 the 24th Symposium of the International Association for Vehicle System Dynamics (IAVSD) was held in Graz, Austria, from 17th to 21st of August 2015. The symposium was hosted by VIRTUAL VEHICLE Research Center, in cooperation with the Graz and Vienna Universities of Technology, and the industrial partners AVL, Magna Steyr, and Siemens.
