Print on Demand. This book on dynamic skiametry delves into the practical and theoretical aspects of this ophthalmic technique, exploring its use as an objective method of measuring relative accommodation. Drawing from historical origins and established scientific foundations, the author presents a comprehensive analysis of skiametry, a valuable method for determining the refractive errors of the eye. The book examines the relationship between accommodation and convergence, investigating their interdependence and independence through a series of tests and demonstrations. By assessing these functions, the author provides a deeper understanding of the complex dynamics of binocular vision, focusing on the coordination of accommodation and convergence in healthy and ametropic eyes. This insightful exploration offers valuable insights for practitioners seeking to refine their refractive techniques and expand their knowledge of ocular physiology. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format.
