A GUIDE FOR LETTING YOUR CHURCH DIE—SO IT CAN LIVE AGAIN
With 90 percent of churches in decline or plateau, what must church leaders do? Greg Wiens and Dan Turner offer time-tested solutions, practical advice, and real-life stories for those who want to restart their church.
Dying to Restart is the first comprehensive resource for declining churches to successful “die” so they can really have a fresh start. With two decades of relevant experience, Wiens and Turner describe the difference between "revitalizing" and "restarting" a church. The qualitative and quantitive differences are vital for successfully restarting a dying church.
The goal of the restart is not to replace the old version of a church with an new, updated version. Rather, the goal of a restart is to create a wholly different body with holy different DNA. Sometimes a congregation needs to die with dignity—so it can truly start again.
Movement-minded leaders of all types will find Dying to Restart a refreshingly optimistic and practical read. —Dr. Ed Love, Director of Church Multiplication for The Wesleyan Church
