189 pp. The first edition of the novel by Leonid Denisovich Surazhevsky (Rzhevsky is a pseudonym, 1905-1986), writer, literary critic and publicist of the second wave of emigration, editor-in-chief of the magazine "Grani" in 1952-1955, professor at a number of foreign universities. The novel is a fascinating artistic description of the deep, unrequited love of an elderly writer for a young girl - a typical representative of unsatisfied youth, without faith and ideals.
