When paranormal investigator Jordan Langford accepts a university-funded contract to investigate and document reported phenomena at the historic Dutch Flat Inn, he expects to find drafty hallways, misfiring circuits, and stories inflated by rumor. The inn, normally a thriving, picturesque stop along the Sierra Nevada foothills, has been closed to the public after a series of unexplained disturbances drew the concern of the new owners and the attention of UCLA's Department of Parapsychology.Jordan arrives with his trusted team of paranormal researchers, and what begins as a controlled scientific study quickly spirals into chaos as the team uncovers evidence of ritual activity dating back to the Gold Rush era. As the nights progress, their instruments capture whispers, unseen activity, and shadows that move with intent. With reality deteriorating and the team's sanity unraveling, Jordan and the team must find the answers before it is too late. Some doorways, once opened, never fully close. The Dutch Flat Haunting is a paranormal thriller blending psychological tension, occult mystery, and human resilience, in the tradition of The Conjuring and The Exorcist. It is the first novel in the Jordan Langford Series, a grounded yet terrifying exploration of faith, fear, and the unseen world. This item is printed on demand.
