nach der Bestellung gedruckt Neuware - Printed after ordering - Jacques Offenbach (1819 - 1880) was a French composer, impresario and cellist during the romantic period. He is most remembered for producing almost 100 operettas during the 1850s and 1870s, and for 'The Tales of Hoffmann', his uncompleted opera. Offenbach had a significant influence on many notable composers, including Johann Strauss, Jr. and Arthur Sullivan. His most famous works experienced continual revival in the 20th century, and many of his compositions are still performed to this day. Featuring large, clear note heads and wide margins, this edition is perfect for studying and following the music. Classic Music Collection constitutes an extensive library of the most well-known and universally-enjoyed works of classical music ever composed, reproduced from authoritative editions for the enjoyment of musicians and music students the world over.
