Paperback. In Dry Lake Shelly Norris speaks in the language of geology, landscapes, and nature. This is not merely a conceit or even a poetic memoir. Rather, Norris creates a poetic alchemy, matching the interior with the exterior, the soul with its worldly environs. From the leaves quivering at the top of Aspens to the green-black depths of icy lakes, Norris enters the natural world to meditate on self: on the past, on family, on trauma, and on existence. Lauren Scharhag, 2024 Rhysling Award winner and author of Ain't These Sorrows Sweet (Roadside Press) This item is printed on demand. Shipping may be from our UK warehouse or from our Australian or US warehouses, depending on stock availability.
