For generations the men of the Drummond family found peace and purpose hunting elk in the Rocky Mountains of Western Montana. Without exception, they gathered every fall. Now that tradition and the family that forged it are in danger. The Drummond Tale is the story of man's relationship to place; a story of wilderness and the affect it has on the lives of those who grow up in it. It is a story about family, heritage and honor. Shannon Drummond wants nothing more than to be successful in life, but when his younger brother, Edgar, falls in with a powerful, small town crime syndicate, he is faced with the common dilemma of ambitious men - career vs. family - in a tangle of psychological twists, betrayal, corruption and violence.
