For over half a century, Louise Waterhouse and her father, Bill Waterhouse, have proudly represented the Kingdom of Tonga - championing the only Pacific nation never to have been colonised. Driving Three Kings traces Tonga's evolving relationship with Australia and charts the nation's remarkable progress over five decades - often punching above its weight on the regional and global stage.
Alive with anecdotes and vivid recollections, the book offers behind-the scenes glimpses into Tonga and it's modern monarchs. At its heart lies the author's unique privilege of having personally driven each of the three kings, alongside the Waterhouse family's five decades of looking to help drive the Kingdom. These experiences frame the story with warmth, respect, and historical insight.
