Die genaue Erfassung der Kieferrelationen bei zahnlosen Patienten ist entscheidend f�r die Gew�hrleistung von Funktion, Sprache, Aussehen und Komfort. Wie von Yoshiyuki Watanabe hervorgehoben, ist die okklusale Stabilit�t der Schl�ssel f�r eine erfolgreiche prothetische Behandlung und erfordert eine pr�zise Bestimmung der Unterkieferposition. Die Kenntnis der vertikalen und horizontalen Beziehungen zwischen Unter- und Oberkiefer ist entscheidend f�r die korrekte Platzierung der Z�hne, insbesondere bei der Konstruktion von Totalprothesen.
