Synopsis:
This is a fiction book about a newlywed couple who move into their first home in the UK. The husband, Justus, finds a fascinating book in the library that pulls him into a world of waking dreams that seem like reality as he sleeps. He continues to have these life-like dreams every time he reads the book, where he experiences a series of adventures in the Middle Ages. Mysteriously, his wife, Anna, begins to fall ill, getting rapidly worse on a daily basis. As Jared is puzzled by what's happening with his wife, he and his butler make a discovery in a local cave that ties his dreams, the book, and the illness all together. It's a race for time to save Anna's life, as he finds the source of the curse in his waking dreams.
About the Author: Jared Detter is a former military psychologist, a former police psychologist, has been trained as a hostage negotiator, and currently works as an organizational consultant. He is a life-long lover and collector of books. He's had his nose in a book since he was four years old, with no prospects of that changing anytime soon. He lives with his wife and three sons in Canton, OH.
