Cars are truly objects of sensibility and imagination. People who create them must combine emotions and symbols. They also have to work with the public capacity to assimilate innovation. Cars vary according to geography and culture.
Stylists and designers express their most committed ideas in "dream cars", superb butterflies which live no longer than a Car Show. We have decided to use these rare and ephemeral automobiles to illustrate this book on the style of tomorrow. These cars are at the forefront of creativity, they are the foretaste of things to come, they are not forced to fit the bland mould dictated by marketing: they are, in their way, a eulogy to perfection.
