Compiled by Erskine Reid and Herbert Compton. Published by Raithby, Lawrence & Co., Limited. Size: 5 x 7 1/2 inches. Page number: 243 plus 2 pages of advertisements. Hardcover: Dark grey boards with red tiles and the images of various actors of the day on the front. On the back board there is an advertisement for a shop selling musical instruments. This is an A to Z of the notable actors of the day including Sarah Bernhart and others with such diverting names as Vane Featherstone, Gilbert Farquhar and Walter Weedon Grossmith. Condition: Very Good. The boardsand spine are a bit worn and rubbed and quite darkened. The spine has darkened such that it is hard to read what is written on it at all. The top edge of the end block is dusty. The contents, but for ocassional marks and creases, are clean and un-thumbed. The first and last pages are tanned. The binding is sound though a little weak at both front and back, at the point where the boards and text block meet. Seller Inventory # 000427
